Vehicle Description 1972 3-DOOR CHEVY SUBURBAN VIN - CCE262F173398 ODOMETER - 29305 ENGINE - GM Performance Parts 502 CID roller cam 338 HP @ 4500 RPM 512 lb/ft TORQUE @ 2800 RPM Edelbrock Performer 2.
0 Intake Manifold Jet Performance Rochester Quadrajet 4 bbl 70,000 miles on this engine TRANSMISSION -Jet Performance T-700 R-4 PAINT AND BODY- Shapells, Jax Fla.
2015 -- New metal in quarter-panels, fenders, spare-well, doors No rust, no bad metal Outside paint is pretty good Interior needs everything Michelin tires New DieHard AGM battery AC front and rear I had a '76 suburban I bought in 1980.
The big block gave out in 1998 and I replaced it with a 502 HT crate engine from GM Performance Parts.
I intended to restore it when I retired but I moved to a barrier island and the salt air rusted the body beyond repair.
I bought the '72 3-door in 2007 and moved the running gear and the 3/4 ton rear axel from the '76 to the '72.
The 502 got 50,000 miles in the '76 and almost 30,000 in the '72.
The paint is decent and the metal work done in 2015 was well done.
It is ready for a show quality paint job.
The interior needs everything from headliner to carpet.
It has worn out front seats; I threw the back seats away.
AC was blowing cold last summernot so cold this spring,,,needs a recharge I imagine my buyer might be a pro/semi-pro who wants to take this 3-door to show/collector quality.
