Westin Jekyll Island is a 200-room resort brimming with classic Southern charm and located on the beach in Jekyll Island.

The main functions of the Host/Hostess are to facilitate the prompt and accurate seating and service of all guests, accept payment for food and beverages, and make proper change and helps servers in assuring quality customer service.
The host/hostess must meet and greet guests in a warm friendly manner, making them feel comfortable and welcome in our establishment.
Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and keep control and smile when pressure arises.
Must have the ability to multitask and keep busy at all times.
Starting rate for Host / Hostess is $15.
00 per hour and a Jekyll Island Parking Pass will be provided.
Qualifications, Education & Experience Standards:
Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of Food and Beverage procedures and serving standards.
Knowledge of Health Department rules and regulations.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English.
Recommended Skills Communication English Foods Friendliness Greet Guests Multitasking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
